A Little About Me
Hello! I’m De’Ann C., a certified Postpartum Doula with over seven years of childcare experience. Since becoming certified in 2024, I’ve had the honor of supporting dozens of families through their fourth trimester and beyond. I’m also trained in lactation support and am passionate about creating a calm, comforting, and nonjudgmental space for parents to rest, recover, and connect with their babies. My favorite part of postpartum work is witnessing those small, beautiful moments, when confidence grows and families find their rhythm together.
With two degrees in Public Health, I’ve always been drawn to the world of maternal and infant wellness. My approach as a doula is rooted in empathy, evidence-based care, and genuine connection. I believe every family deserves support that honors their values, emotions, and unique transition into parenthood. What fulfills me most is seeing families feel seen, supported, and empowered during such a tender and transformative season.

Speaking & Workshops
I’m a postpartum doula and maternal support specialist who speaks on newborn care, nighttime rhythms, and feeding support during the fourth trimester. Through my educational sessions, I help expecting and new parents feel more prepared for what early postpartum life actually looks like, especially during the overnight hours.
My approach is rooted in practical, judgment-free guidance that centers both the baby and the parent. I focus on helping families understand realistic newborn behavior, build gentle nighttime routines, and navigate feeding with more confidence and less stress. My goal is always to leave parents feeling more supported, more at ease, and better equipped to move through the early weeks with clarity and confidence.
